Our Story

The Block is a restaurant and wine bar in Shepherd Market, Jan Smuts Avenue, Craighall Park, Randburg. We're minutes from Parkhurst, Hyde Park and Sandton. We offer something a little different from the usual restaurant scene. Flame-grilled steaks, sourdough pizza and burgers, with a cellar of South African wines. It's a relaxed room for date nights, wine tastings and rugby weekends. Come find us at The Block. We think you'll want to make it a regular stop.
