What are your opening hours?
We're closed on Mondays. Tuesday to Saturday we're open 11:00–21:00, and on Sundays we run 11:00–20:00.
How do I book a table, and how many people can I book for online?
Online bookings are taken for up to 12 covers — just choose your table, time and number of covers. For larger groups, reach out directly and we'll sort it with a quotation.
How long do we get to sit at our table?
Each sitting is 120 minutes long, giving you plenty of time to relax over your meal.
What kind of food do you serve?
We're all about seasonal, flame-fired cooking — think grass-fed, grain-finished steaks, slow-proofed wood-fired pizzas, and dishes designed to pair beautifully with our wines. Our meat is sourced by our own family-run meat business, supplying top restaurants in Johannesburg.
What does it cost to eat here?
Pizzas range from around R130 to R250, mains like our steaks run from R155 to R240, and sides are R30 each — there's something for every appetite.
Do you have any regular specials or events?
Yes — every Tuesday is 'Two'sday' with 50% off your second pizza (dine-in only), and every Thursday from 4pm you get a free 300ml Castle Lite draught with any of our burgers. We also run set Wednesday wine or whisky tastings, like our R350 per person Hartenberg Wine Tasting Experience.
Can you host a large group, celebration or corporate function?
Absolutely — we arrange special packages and set menus for large groups. Just tell us who's coming and when, and we'll come back to you with a quotation.
